In April, my story, “The Can Man,” was published at Sliver of Stone Magazine, edited by M.J. Fievre. It’s a great magazine filled with other great writers, including an interview with Dorianne Lux and stories by Justin Bendell and James Elens. “The Can Man” is a chapter from my novel in stories, “It Happened This Way,” and it’s the story of James Tully and his decision to hop on a train and run away from home. What happened James could never have seen coming. He runs into someone horrible in the woods after he’s kicked off the train by an old bull.
